Reader 'F'<\/div>

Mayuri oversees programs of the Bio Cell like the Biology Olympiad, NIUS and other outreach events. She has a strong research background in molecular biology and genetics having worked at TIFR, University of Massachusetts Medical School and University of Pennsylvania. She also has extensive teaching experience and mentored many UG\/PG students at Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College, Mumbai.<\/p>

Dr. Anupama <\/span> Ronad<\/span><\/div>
Scientific Officer<\/div>

Anupama joined HBCSE in the year 2000 with a background in Microbiology. Since then she has been actively involved in developing challenging academic content both experimental as well as theoretical in various areas of biology for the major programmes of the Cell namely the Biology Olympiad Programme and the NIUS programme. Apart from these programmes, Anupama  regularly designs and conducts capacity building and orientation camps\/workshops for high school and undergraduate teachers as well as students with an emphasis on hands-on biology leading to enhanced science process skills.<\/p><\/div>

Mr. Vikrant <\/span> Ghanekar<\/span><\/div>
Scientific Officer<\/div>

Vikrant Ghanekar holds a post-graduate degree in plant science from Mumbai University. Since 2009, he has served as a scientific officer at HBCSE Biology Cell, actively contributing to prominent programs such as the Biology Olympiad and National Initiative on Undergraduate Science (NIUS). With a strong passion for plant anatomy, Vikrant regularly develops theoretical questions and experimental tasks for the Olympiad program. As a dedicated science communicator, he actively participates in numerous outreach programs for students and teachers.<\/span><\/p><\/div>

Ms. Dnyaneshwari<\/span> Joshi<\/span><\/div>
Project Scientific Officer<\/div>

Dnyaneshwari, a biotechnologist, adeptly navigates behavioural biology, microbiology, website design, and contributes to Bio Cell HBCSE's NIUS and Biology Olympiads. Apart from her academic pursuits, Dnyaneshwari is an avid science educator, actively engaging in outreach, writing, and communication. With a teaching background in Biotechnology and Wine-technology, she combines her passions for science and education.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Ms. Uzma <\/span> Shaikh<\/span><\/div>
Project Scientific Assistant<\/div>

Uzma is a microbiologist by training and a science outreach enthusiast at heart. She is a member of the graphic design team for the 'Anandi' newsletter and periodically dabbles in digital illustration too. Her interests include molecular biology, Drosophila behavior, frugal science and science communication.<\/p><\/div>

Ms. Bhakti <\/span> Mangaonkar<\/span><\/div>

Bhakti has completed a BSc and MSc in Zoology. Her specialization is Animal physiology. She is passionate about teaching and capacity-building. Her other interests include trekking, birdwatching, butterfly watching and photography.<\/p><\/div>
